Fairbanks, the “Golden Heart City,” is located in interior Alaska, only 200 miles from the Arctic Circle. Summer Institute participants will be exposed to the challenges of the rural North, and will have the opportunity to experience Alaska’s diverse interior and nearly 24 hours of daylight.
